Every year the graduating class of SHSS in Castlegar haunts Zuckerberg Island in Castlegar to raise money for the local Food Bank.
Randy from Toaster agreed to join me to record our experience through the dark and gloomy no mans land that used to be a home and gathering place for Indigenous people from time immemorial. Marked by pit houses and grave markers, and is centred by a home Zuckerberg himself erected after its original inhabitants had be destroyed.
It is indeed haunted and it is indeed a great cause out of a tragedy.
Happy Halloween!
