he International Day of Families was first observed in 1993 after the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution to observe the 15th of May every year as a tribute to families around the world. Every year, a theme is decided by the general body and the theme for 2021 is Families and Technology.
The last couple of years in particular have been tough on families the world over with many of us losing a family member to the COVID19 pandemic.
