Jill Jenick Bio:

Born and raised in Aliso Viejo, California, I grew up outdoors and always as part of a team. While I loved playing basketball and soccer, my true passion was softball. I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to play Div. I softball for East Carolina University, and in the summer of 2010, I packed my bags and traded sunny southern California for a glass of North Carolina sweet tea. While playing softball for the Pirates, I received my Bachelors in English  and my Masters in Teaching at ECU. Now that I have finished my collegiate career, I am turning to my other passion: sports broadcasting.

After graduation, I was offered a job at WNCT, the CBS affiliate in Greenville in both the news and sports departments. During my time at Channel 9, I was a sports reporter and sports anchor, as well as the weekend news producer. I was one of the top reporters for our highly acclaimed high school football show “Touchdown Friday,”  and I was also the producer of our Sunday night sports show “The Final Score.”
