Angel City FC was born in 2019 following a chance meeting between soccer royalty, Abby Wambach, and Hollywood superstar, Natalie Portman. And with an incredible team, including employee #1 Stephanie Rudnick, they’re not only building a club that seeks to address the significant equity issues associated with women’s sport, they’re also investing money (10% of sponsor revenue) and time into their local LA community and challenging the norms of how to create a women’s sports team.
