What I enjoyed was that she is:
- She was a Visual Arts Therapist, An ABA Therapist, that turned to her hidden talent of fixing things.
- She is her father’s daughter. Learned from her dad and uses his tools at times. That resonated with me. How important it is to have a mentor and how it can affect your child’s life indefinitely.
- Her attitude was: just do it and it can always be fixed. All mistakes can be fixed.
- When designing a space….you don’t have to have figured out everything. Start with something you love, a piece of furniture or wall paper and then build around that.
- Lastly, you don’t have to start and finish the project immediately. Sometimes great to let it simmer, sit with it a while until you realize how you will use the space.
