We are shedding a spotlight on Mercedes Barreto, owner and founder of Manual Magazines. Mercedes, alongside Hudson Valley Photographer Joe Mack, put together the new book, "The Music of the Hudson Valley: Volume 1." The book is comprised with Joe's photography and Mercedes's interviews with the bands. Mercedes and I also talk about the magazine publication that conceived this book in the first place, and what other books she has coming out in the near future.
The Music of the Hudson Valley: Volume 1
This photo book features several musicians from The Hudson Valley and their photos, which represent them and their artistic backgrounds as Hudson Valley musicians. Artists include the Carrie Zazz Band, Good Stuff, Jessi Rose, Willow Blue & Misfit Toys, Jessie Lee Montague, Libricide, IKO, and John Burton's Home From Here Podcast.
