What is World Book Day all about? 

It’s the day given over to the joy of encouraging Children to read.

You may notice something strange going on this week – in the village or town in which you live, children and a few grown ups are dressed in peculiar clothing!

HRH Duchess of Cornwall supports children reading with a yearly children's competition hosted by BBC Radio 2.
