Dr. Andy Hudson, Professor of Clarinet at University of North Carolina - Greensboro, joins the podcast to talk about being a kind person. As musicians, it is easy to assign value to ourselves and others based on our success and failures in music. Dr. Hudson embraces the idea of separating who we are as human beings from our value as musicians, and using empathy to support others in our profession and to always strive to be better than we were the day before.
