Ernst Wagner was a teacher who snapped on a village.
Ernst August Wagner was a German teacher who went on a killing spree in 1913, killing 14 people. He had a troubled childhood, with his father dying when he was young and his mother being promiscuous. Wagner struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts, but managed to become a teacher. He had a history of erratic behavior, including an incident of bestiality. Wagner's paranoia and feelings of persecution led him to plan his revenge on the villagers who he believed knew about his actions. He carried out his killing spree on September 4th, 1913, before being apprehended and found not guilty by reason of insanity.
