When we gave our lives to Christ we didn't simply join a new religion, we became a new creation. But instead of living like it, we like to do things ourselves. But when we try to fix everything on our own, it can have unintended consequences. Here are some warnings about self-help:

• Self-help is often self-centered
• Self-help can easily become self-worship

God-help, on the other hand, works in a different way:

• God-help is a God-first system
• God-help is the only help that actually works
