This week, Short Bus Debate Club is all about taxes. People say that only two things are guaranteed in life, you are going to pay taxes and you are going to die. Death isn't mentioned, but we talk about taxes to the United States government, state and local taxes, property tax, and all the ways that our elected officials like to bleed money from us. We also make a best effort to explain deficit spending and the debt ceiling, bonds, and taxation without representation in a fun and exciting way.
