The Prayer of Spring

I am part of this wind

pushing clouds across the sky

I am the sound of why

of the waves of destiny that cries

I am the passing rain

and the puddles reflecting

what is seen

as patterns of this prayer of Spring

I am the promise of new awakening

with secrets it can bring

a redemption that sings

a néw song of hope we so need  

I am part of these words

and the process observed

in the clouds. the rain,

the sound of the morning birds

the wind that turns

the wheel of our prayers

to heal the cares of the world

the price dark and light carries

til at last Gods love appears
