Kyler Sherman-Wilkins, 34, is an associate professor of sociology and a faculty affiliate in the gerontology program at Missouri State University. He is one of seven candidates running for three open spots on the Springfield Board of Education, and joined the Springfield Daily Citizen to talk about issues facing the district.
