We cannot hide from what we’re perceived as, because we create our own story. If we choose not to have faith, not to sculpt our character, but to instead live out someone else’s ideals for us, our lives are a tragedy. There is no freedom in that life.

It’s the same story as Endeavor in My Hero Academia, and Sasuke in Naruto. In fact, Sasuke’s life is so tragic that Naruto, which represents faith, persists in unshackling Sasuke from his beliefs, but Sasuke always refuses.

It’s strange to me that we can choose whether to have Faith. Why is that? It must be because we cannot truly appreciate the significance of Faith if we didn’t also experience distrust. Choosing Faith seems to be a skill learned in the pursuit of wisdom.
