Trying to improve our life by changing a bad habit always seems impossible because it’s choosing an option we don’t know exists. We think we’re destined for chronic worry, alcoholism, obesity, etc. However, hen we view alcoholism as a choice, we can choose the option we didn’t know exists.
There is a metaphysical courage that comes from accepting the improbable. With it comes possibilities that make life way more interesting. With humility, some possibilities can turn into opportunities.
