What do you want? Naively answered, we will may something related to power or control. But once we see ourselves as organism-environments our wants become deeper and more meaningful.

Today I discussed the importance of responsibility and industry, and the military being a guide for life in general. The quote below discusses why we make irresponsible people work to keep them busy.

People who are really busy never have enough time to become skittish. And there is nothing so certain as the fact that the harmful consequences of inactivity are dissipated by activity” -Seneca
