This week on ScreenRun, The Lady-Wan and Chris Scalzo continue their adventures through the works of Kevin Smith with ‘Red State’.  This time, Smith spins a tale of horror centered around a cult that has taken hostages and are preparing for the end times.  John Goodman plays the FBI agent tasked with negotiating with the cult, while madness descends around them all.  Or does it?  Does Smith’s first foray into the horror genre deliver the scares the concept promises?  Is this a sign of things to come?  And is that a good thing?
