We’re back from break and the guys kick off Part 3 with a weekly phone call to Lee, live from his basement. The mission is simple and absolutely necessary: get the official days-to-retirement number for the “Lee Update of the Week,” which lands at 1,928 days and immediately becomes a recurring bit they want to keep running.
From there, it’s classic Shaffer RULES chaos: improvised voices, yelling away from the mic, random household discoveries (including a Starling Marte light switch cover), and a left-field moment where Brian admits that laughing too hard gives him painful “laugh bumps” on his head.
