This session will provide an introduction to the field of socially responsible investing, and is especially geared toward meeting the information needs of people new to the SRI industry. The panelists will define common SRI terms, provide an overview of the industry, explain major trends, and discuss core SRI strategies: portfolio screening on environmental, social, and governance factors; shareholder advocacy; and community investing.
