This podcast explains and interprets the meaning of John the Revelator's statements and images from Revelation 9:1 in the Book of Revelation. The start of the First Woe begins in this verse when the fifth trumpet angel of the seventh seal sounds his trumpet to open the bottomless pit. Much of this podcast is devoted to a discussion of the fallen star in this verse that is Lucifer or Satan, as he was known after his fall in the premortal existence. This podcast also discussed the unembodied spirit sons of perdition that rebelled and followed Lucifer since the grand council in heaven until they were cast out with him on the earth at the time of the physical creation. Earth will become for them a hell and bottomless pit. When the bottomless pit is opened in our future, as recorded in Revelation 9:1, Satan and his unembodied spirit sons of perdition will be given much greater power on earth and with their influence unleashed the earth will be shrouded in spiritual darkness.
