This podcast provides an overview of the Second Woe of the seventh seal that will begin at a future day when the sixth trumpet angel sounds his trump. The Second Woe is a seven-year period of time when the physical battle of Armageddon will be fought. The events of the Second Woe are described by John the Revelator in Revelation 9:13 though Revelation 11:14. The battle is summarized in Revelation 9:13-21 and includes the deaths of all mortal sons of perdition collectively, who are identified as one third of the combatants involved in the war. Revelation 10 describes events at the midpoint of Armageddon when the Savior will appear as a great angel at the gathering of saints at the valley of Adam-ondi-Ahman. These events are symbolically described as part of John's "Little Book Mission." After the events of Revelation 10, John's narrative continues in Revelation 11, which described events during the second half of Armageddon, including the ministry of the two witnesses in Jerusalem during the last 3 ½ years before the Second Coming, which are called the "Great Tribulation." The Two Witnesses will be killed and their dead bodies will lie unburied in Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days, during which time the Third Temple in Jerusalem will be destroyed during the "abomination of desolation" predicted by Christ on the eve of his crucifixion. The Second Woe will end when the two witnesses are resurrected in Rev 11:14.
