The power of Satan in the Greek Empire grew through the Hellenization process whereby conquered nations, including the Jews, adopted the customs, religious philosophies and lax moral standards of the Greeks. At the same time Satan's power grew in the Greek empire, the way was also paved for the establishment and growth of Christianity in a Greek-speaking world after the death of Jesus Christ.
