This podcast explains how The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which is the ecclesiastical kingdom of God now on earth, shall merge into the political kingdom of God commencing with the gathering of saints at Adam-ondi-Ahman. When the merger of the ecclesiastical and political kingdoms is complete at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the millennial kingdom will be called the Church of the Firstborn. This name is derived from the fact that Christ is the Firstborn Son of God who shall inherit God his Father's kingdom, as will all the members of this millennial church who qualify for exaltation and thus inherit the Father's kingdom as though they are also God's firstborn Son. The Church of the Firstborn will replace all earthly kingdoms and governments. It will be a theocracy with Jesus Christ at its head, but it will be based on the freedoms and principles adopted in the United State Constitution.
