This podcast discusses the creation of celestial earths by Jesus Christ during the war in heaven. Before the war in heaven began, Christ created worlds of lesser intelligence to become part of the telestial and terrestrial kingdoms. The creation of these lesser worlds occurred during the premortal apostasy that John describes in Revelation 12:6. When the war in heaven began in Revelation 12:7, Christ (Jehovah) began to create celestial earths that could sustain the life of human inhabitants during the period of their mortal second estate. Since these worlds abide celestial law, they will also be the place of inheritance for people living on them who also obey celestial law. This earth, with Kolob as its inward spirit, was created last as the most intelligent of all celestial earths.
Celestial earths were created as needed to accommodate God's spirit children who kept their first estate during the war in heaven. As new celestial worlds were created in ascending order of their intelligence, human spirits of like intelligence in their order were appointed to leave the war in heaven on Kolob to live on the spirit world of their habitable physical earth. A certain number of Lucifer's rebellious followers were also appointed and cast down to each such world. The war in heaven thus became a war of attrition as bad spirits who failed to keep their first estate were cast down to live upon the physical earth to which they had been appointed, while good spirits who kept their first estate received their appointments to be born on the same earth.
This earth was the last of Christ's physical creations. The creative process is eternal and has no beginning and no ending. That is the nature of multigenerational creation. However, in this generation of God’s direct offspring, there was and is a beginning and an end to creation. When this earth dies and is resurrected, all God's spirit children worthy of exaltation will be empowered by the atonement of Jesus Christ to begin a new generation of spirit creations. The process of creation will then continue endlessly from generation to generation.
