The St. Charles County Council has the controversial Tall Tree development on tonight's agenda. But, instead of voting on whether to approve it or not, Councilman Mike Elam says the developer, KM Investment Group 4, is going to ask them to put it on hold. The move follows strong opposition by neighbors in the rural area of St. Charles County. The attorney for the developer had previously threatened to ask O'Fallon, Missouri to annex the land if the County rejected the plan, believing O'Fallon is anxious to grow its population.
