St. Clair Derrick-Jules shares her new book Dear Khloe: Love Letters to My Little Sister, inspired by her 6-year-old sister Khloe to help her love her afro. Dear Khloe features photos of a hundred Black women, accompanied by their personal narratives of sometimes harrowing but always triumphant journeys through a hostile landscape towards love of their natural hair. She put together this book because " its one thing for us to tell young girls to love themselves; its another for us to show them how its done."
