St. Luke is the patron saint of physicians and surgeons. You can ask him to pray for you if you are a physician or a surgeon. You can also ask him to pray for someone you know who is a physician or a surgeon.

St. Luke is also the patron saint of unmarried men. You can ask him to pray for you if you are an unmarried man. Or you can ask for his intercession on behalf of an unmarried man whom you know.

Additionally, St. Luke is the patron saint of artists. You can seek his intercession if you are an artist, or you can ask him to pray for another artist.

You can pray the St. Luke Novena for any intention!

Dear Lord, we thank You for giving us St. Luke as an example of holiness. Help us to imitate the love of You he showed in devoting his life to serving You and Your Church.

St. Luke, you were not born a Christian. But you converted and began to do all you could to serve God and His Church.

Please do all you can to bring my petitions before the throne of God!

You accompanied St. Paul to many different places as he preached the Gospel. You learned a lot about the Faith from him. Then, you cooperated with the Holy Spirit to write your Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles.

Pray for me, that I may be as devoted a servant of God and His Church as you were. Pray that I may always be eager to do God’s will in my life.
