St. Patrick: A Legacy of Courageous Faith” is the inspiring story of a man who, in the face of adversity, found the courage to stand up for what he believed in. Born in Britain of a Romanized family, St. Patrick was kidnapped by Irish raiders at age 16 and carried into slavery in Ireland. After escaping from slavery, he returned to Britain and was educated in the Christian faith. Later, he returned to Ireland as a missionary, where he spent the rest of his life. He is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland and probably responsible in part for the Christianization of the Picts and Anglo-Saxons.
