Welcome to our St. Patrick's Day episode!
In this episode, we'll be sipping on eight delicious craft beers with a special secret theme. We wanted to step outside of the normal beers you hear so much about, while still paying homage to St. Patrick.
Beer Tasting:
• First up is Two Stacks Irish Whiskey. We found this whiskey to be balanced, with slightly nutty tones. It's a good Irish whiskey that's perfect for celebrating St. Patrick's Day.
• Next is 18th Street Brewery - Best Patio Pils. We loved the malty, citrus-forward taste of this pilsner. It's a refreshing and flavorful beer that's perfect for sipping on a sunny patio.
• Then we tried Fat Heads Brewery - St Fatty's Irish Style Red Ale. This is the beer we want when drinking a red ale. It has good maltiness, subtle nuttiness with a sweet finish, and it's a great choice for St. Patrick's Day.
• Next up is Burn 'Em Brewing - Mash Pipe. This double IPA has a definite maltiness and Jon even tasted some corn sweetness. It's a satisfying and delicious beer that's perfect for hop lovers.
• Then we tried Skygazer Brewery - Pear Sour Crusher. This super crushable sour ale with pear is sweet, crispy, and bright. It's a unique and flavorful beer that's perfect for celebrating St. Patrick's Day.
• Next is Revolution Brewing Repo Man. This robust, spicy rye stout has a coffee vibe that Dan and Jon definitely picked up on. It's a bold and flavorful beer that's perfect for sipping by the fire.
• Then we tried Windmill Brewing - Multi-Core Processing. This super cidery beer is super satisfying. It's a unique and flavorful beer that's perfect for sipping on St. Patrick's Day.
• Lastly, we tasted Transient Artisan Ales - Reserve No Cake. This perfect stout has cinnamon, chocolate, spice, and vanilla flavors that really come through. It's a delicious and satisfying beer that's perfect for ending the show on a high note.
We hope you enjoyed our St. Patrick's Day beer tasting episode! If you're looking for unique and flavorful craft beers to celebrate the holiday, be sure to try some of our recommendations. And as always, cheers!
