Today is November 30, 2025, the 1st Sunday of Advent. Our celebrants were Fr. Lee Hellwig and Deacon Ronald Gurr.
Today we begin a new liturgical year and the short but meaningful season of Advent.
Advent is more than just a countdown to Christmas; it is a journey toward the light. In the midst of a darkening world, we light the first candle and remember that the Lord is not hiding from us. He is always moving toward us, just as we strive to move toward Him.
In the rush of the season, let us hold tight to the ancient prayer, “Come, Lord Jesus.” May this season help us walk in His light, seek His peace, and move toward Him each day.
