Saint Padre Pio was one of the most loved, yet mysterious Catholics of the 20th century. Known as a stigmatist, healer and mystic, he aspired to great holiness, both for himself and to the many who came to him for spiritual direction, who he referred to as his spiritual children. Padre Pio had the gift of bi-location, a special gift from God where an individual can be in two places at one time. This gift was also given to countless other saints, although Padre Pio had the most frequent and documented accounts during his extraordinary life.
