Stablish Your Hearts - to set fast, turn resolutely in a certain direction. To set your hearts on the Lord for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Be #patient in the Lord just as your Lord is patient. Herein, we find James addressing the #rich, but advising the #believers in #ChristJesus that the #Lordscoming is approaching. We live as if the Lord is coming today, yet we #discern the #times and work to #setfast our #hope, #love, #obedience, and #devotion in and on the #LordJesusChrist. We are not to #squanderthetime, the hour, or our own lives spent for the Lord himself. Today it is easy to become distracted and painful to be caught unawares in those things of #God we should know about. #Stablishyourhearts
