Harpreet began his entrepreneurial path creating a start-up with a high school friend in 2010. The venture created a platform that sold tickets to clubs and venues. The venture was too ahead of its time technologically for consumers to adopt and they eventually decided to cut their losses. This allowed him to gain first experience in his entrepreneurial journey. His computer science and entrepreneurship educational background has given him an advantage which he had utilized in every one of his businesses.
While enrolled at Ryerson, Harp became involved in organizing a group of students to travel and assist a village of women in Kenya. After graduating he had taken a liking to real estate and after obtaining his license, he closed his first client using Twitter. He has since continued to educate himself in marketing and sales from YouTube and online courses. He now gains 100% of his customers through social media marketing while growing an organic value based social media presence.
Harp speaks in depth about how he utilized the marketing and his Ryerson education (systems and optimization) to his advantage and success in his real estate business and how those same strategies are now helping his wife’s specialty jewelry online business prosper and lead the segment. His love for growth and knowledge is what he believes to be his primary unfair advantage that gives him the edge. We have an in-depth talk about real estate, technological landscape and trends that will continue to push the boundaries of numerous industries
