  • Consumerism

In a world that promotes freedom and liberty, we are captive in a modern-day Egypt. The Prince of the Air writes a cultural script that presents an illusion of liberty—yet ultimately leads to enslavement. Throughout this series, we will attempt to unveil the illusion of liberty that culture promotes and explore the antidote that the ways of Jesus offer. As we unmask that which is enslaving us, may we journey from captivity to freedom.

Anna continues our Unveiled Series with a look Consumerism and the challenge to live simply. How do we live differently and adopt a biblical view of material wealth? Seek first His kingdom, live generously, and view everything we have as belonging to God.

  • The Voice of God

This week Nartarsha leads us in our Healing Service focussing on hearing the close, intimate whisper of God's voice. A whisper requires leaning in close, so you can hear. It is an intimate method of communication and it is more breath than sound. Every time God speaks, His breath is released. His breath imparts life, so within his voice is the power to accomplish what He says. God is inviting us to quieten ourselves to hear His voice and silence all the noise. God is calling us to come apart from all the usual noise to hear His voice.

  • For the Sake of Others - When Love Becomes Justice

Our formation to Christlikeness is always for the sake of others. As a community, Stairway has a rich history of pursuing justice locally, nationally and internationally.

Dave wraps up our current series looking at how growing closer to the heart of God is important to love that becomes justice.
