Born in the UK and raised in the United States, he has made a name for himself with his commanding presence and extraordinary depth in classical and contemporary roles alike. From playing the great Othello with a powerful, nuanced touch in past productions, to embodying Joe Mott in The Iceman Cometh and the iconic Louis Armstrong in Satchmo at the Waldorf, his work has earned him multiple awards and a place among the finest actors of our time.
