What does Stand fast mean? It means to stand firm on the foundations that you believe. In this case, whatever is proclaimed in God's word, the Bible. Throughout our life, particularly as we become adults, we learn to stand for various issues that affect our personal lives and those of family members and close friends. Often we take one side of an argument against another as well as standing against the tyranny of evil people and sometimes just plain obstinate relationships, is a part of everyone's life. When we go to the election booth to vote, we learn to take a stand for the things that we regard as being important. As Christians we must learn to stand our ground against all the evil that comes our way, through the flesh, the world and the devil.
