You have an enemy the devil himself.

And he prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.

He is out to steal, kill and destroy

This is a terrifying truth.

But you are not without hope.

Peter tells you that you can resist him by standing firm in your faith.

Now, notice Peter didn't tell you to go to battle with this foe.

He said to stand firm in your faith; your faith in Jesus Christ.

Why? Because he is your living hope alive and living in you.

As John wrote: greater is he that is in you, than he who is in the world.

The enemy is on the prowl. He will launch his accusations against you.

But when he does, remember, you have a Savior, Jesus Christ himself.
