While it’s crucial to acknowledge we need a Saviour, if we just wallow in our own mess without looking up at Jesus, we’re only getting halfway there. True repentance is a bit like a dance: inviting the Holy Spirit to examine our hearts while keeping our eyes fixed on the righteous character of God. Ultimately, our intercession isn't just about our own comfort; it’s about being good image-bearers so that God gets the glory He’s due in our streets and across the nations.
