Most believers, when they hear the word "holiness," imagine a holy man wearing odd clothes, or a lonely man who has no friends because everyone thinks he's "too good for them." But holiness is too important to ignore, and when we really understand the work of Jesus on the cross, we'll find that holiness isn't about our activity at all; it's all about our identity. Holiness raises our standard of living to match the identity we've been given.
