Scriptures
- Ephesians 6:10-18 (NKJV) - “Finally, my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle again flesh and blood, but against principalities against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—“
- Hebrews 4:12 (TPT) - “For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, and it pierces more sharply than a two-edged sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts.”
- Matthew 4:4 (NKJV) - “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
- Psalms 149:1-9 (AMP) - “Praise the Lord Sing to the LORD a new song, And praise Him in the congregation of His godly ones (believers). 2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let Zion’s children rejoice in their King. 3 Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre. 4 For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation. 5 Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats, And a two-edged sword in their hands, 7 To execute vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples, 8 To bind their kings with chains And their nobles with fetters of iron, 9 To execute on them the judgment written. This is the honor for all His godly ones. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!)
