As much as I love the internet, I also hate it. I am fascinated by it, and afraid of it at the same time. That is part of the reason why I chose to study it post-secondary. However, the way my studies have gone, they connect mostly at the social angle of technology. I am pursuing a law degree with an emphasis on three areas: criminal, civil rights and technology. In preparing for law school I did my undergrad in sociology. What that means is that in regards to tech I study people’s behavior. The show today is concerning why it is nearly impossible to have a conversation with people you are not intimately acquainted with online.
