Cate Walter is the owner and director of two award-winning businesses, a coach, one of f:Entrepreneur’s Top 100 UK Businesswomen of 2019, an ex-primary school teacher, and most certainly a woman who knows how to rock business!
In this week’s show, Cate joins Traci to talk about the extreme highs and lows she’s faced, her advocacy of flexible working, how to empower women to achieve their best in business, the key to ongoing development and why it matters, and the issues facing women in the workplace today.

Segregating sections of life is not healthy. Personal issues can impact your business life, and that’s okay.
Nobody needs to be put in boxes. Women should not feel as though they have a choice between either having a career or a family. They should not be naturally expected to be the parent who is expected to take care of not just work, but the home.
There’s far less pressure on women to feel intimidation or expectation when working in a women-only environment. There is a far greater sense of stereotyping when the sexes are mixed. Women feel impostor syndrome, and the sense that they have to constantly prove themselves.
