We have two new 7”s dropping this week on the Star Creature imprint Tugboat Editions. Catalog numbers are clocking in at TBE724 and TBE725 – That means we’ve now done 25 records on this side label. I started this label as a bridge between an white label series I was doing called Tugboat Edits before we launched the Star Creature label. I wanted to do a series to sort of bridge the gap and bring existing Tugboat fans over to the Star Creature section at shops. We switched the name to Tugboat Editions and have almost exclusively dedicated this sublabel to cover versions, most heavily leaning Boogie. I was only able to fit in about 20 tracks so I might have to do a part 2 soon.
