Set during the events of The Next Generation episode, "Pegasus," Riker looks back on some decisions by the crew of the NX-01 in order to get some guidance on how to deal with current problem.  Specifically, he's watching the parts where Trip had to choose to disobey Archer and he lost his life over it.
