When George Lucas released Star Wars on May 25, 1977, he nor anyone else imagined it would impact the world in such a monumental and profound way.  Now 45 years later, we enjoy a world with 10 follow-up live action movies, and over a dozen TV series inspired by the universe revealed in this first movie.
