This narrative follows the journey of Corran Horn, a former investigator and pilot who enters Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Academy to find his missing wife, Mirax Terrik. While training under the assumed name Keiran Halcyon, Corran uncovers his family’s secret Jedi heritage and helps defend the academy from the malevolent spirit of Exar Kun. Seeking to rescue Mirax from the pirate Leonia Tavira, Corran goes undercover within her fleet by adopting a criminal persona to infiltrate the Invids. He eventually reconciles his identity as both a Corellian officer and a Jedi Knight to liberate his wife and resolve a long-standing conflict with a sect known as the Jensaarai.
