A lot of news circling around Disney+ Star Wars shows has the DetBlock crew talking things like the potential Lando series, when future SW shows will be launching, some awesome casting calls, and more!

Being that Oscars recently took place, and yes the Crew couldn't not bring up the incident heard around the world, Mike, Greg and Dustin also talk Star Wars in the Oscars and how successful the franchise has or has not been within these prestigious awards.  Shout out to John Williams for being one of the largest contributors here!  Though Star Wars brings in some of the most success at the box office with its movies, do the films live up to the expectations of the academy and/or are Sci-Fi movies destined to struggle?

As usual, the guys then wrap-up with the next matchup in the "Influential" movie challenge.  Today, we learn the results of #2 A New Hope vs #7 The Rise of Skywalker.  One more matchup after this to determine the complete Yavin 4!
