The Star Wars franchise is introducing a deadly new Sith who existed during the original trilogy era - a "rogue Sith" outside Palpatine's control. While the Sith has been hinted at before, it's now revealed that Luke will seek them out in an attempt to hone his skills before taking on Darth Vader in Return of the Jedi.
