Star Wars The Old Republic news is both promising and disappointing, so I'm asking... why play? The SWTOR 7.0 release date was delayed to February.

SWTOR Legacy of the Sith release date was something many were looking forward to. It honestly looks like 2022 will be a slow and steady Star Wars: The Old Republic Remastered with what they are calling the "mondernization" of the game. In celebration of the SWTOR 10th anniversary they posted a blog post entitled "Celebrating 10 Years and Looking Forward"
