Like I mentioned above, this episode features only 3 franchise reference or easter eggs, so we blow through that section of the cast pretty quickly.

Overall, The Disappeared is a tone setter. The audience now knows the strain the First Order has put on the Colossus and its population. People are going missing and in this episode we find out why.
